Under 11's. Division 5. Home v Bramhall North

Result - Reddish North End 6 Bramhall North 0

Back to winning ways after the disappointment of losing by a whisker on Saturday.
This was an evening game and a chilly and windy one at that. Within a few minutes we were in control of this game and started to dominate.

Some good football all round and we tended to just let the lads get on with it without much instruction from the sidelines.

It was pretty much one way traffic in this first half and our 2 goals were taken superbly by Lewis Marley.

Half Time, 2 – 0 up.

Second half we swapped and changed the team around to give all the subs a chance to play and keep warm. Our third goal came from a Nathan strike brilliantly saved by the keeper who knocked it back onto Nathan and a Bramhall defender marking him, and the ball trickled in the net. Half own goal but the players in the box agreed Nath did enough to claim it. 3 - 0.

Alex came on as sub and went upfront, soon enough the ball was rebounding around the Bramhall box and Alex stuck a toe out on a lose ball and in it went, 4 - 0. Not long after, Alex again has a run into the box and manages to stab a great shot low into the bottom corner, 5 - 0.

We had lots of chances to maybe put the score into double figures, but Bramhall's keeper was outstanding, saving shot after shot and coming out at the feet of our players when running in on goal. Excellent display.

Our last goal came from again loads of pressure in their penalty area, the ball bouncing everywhere and a Bramhall defender puts it in his own net.

Final score 6 - 0.
