Under 11's. Division 5. Away v High Lane FC

Result - Reddish North End 0 High Lane FC 2
The score line
doesn't tell the true story, we absolutely dominated the first
half only for some good goal-keeping did high lane stay in this game.
Lewis Marley had what I consider his best game for us he worked his socks off in the
first half creating some good chances to score.
We had great performances
from Nathan and Callum who worked great together today.
We
went to sleep for their 1st goal, from a corner. Half time 1-0.
After a good chat
at half time we went into the second half with great hope, but it was
much the same as the first half.
Again we dominated possession but
we couldn't breach their goalkeeper. We did have 2 goals disallowed but
to be fair I think the ref got them right. After an attack to try and get an
equaliser high lane got the ball on the left hand side and one of High Lane strikers left our defender for
dead and scored a great goal which looped over Aaron and into the
net, Aaron had no chance.
The final score was 2-0 to High Lane.
After the final whistle, everyone was saying we didn't deserve to lose that
game, let alone by the score.
Those who saw the game also said that was some of the best football they
had seen from this team, Shuff and I agree.
We will work harder in training
to achieve our goals.
