Under 16's. Away v Bollington United

Result - Reddish North End 2 Bollington United 5

A much improved Bollington side, proved too strong for us on the day.
The Reddish boys stripped to the bare bones by illness and injury gave their all but was not quite enough.

The game started lively with chances at both ends. Reddish taking the lead in the 14th minute with a goal of outstanding individual quality.
A free kick was awarded 25 metres out from the Bollington goal, Tom Taylor hit a Ronaldo special which curled and dipped into the top corner, an early contender for goal of the season.

Bollington hit back with 2 quick goals. The blues equalised just after half time through Danny Jackson. In complete control Reddish had countless efforts on goal but could not capitalise.

Against the run of play the home team were offered an easy scoring opportunity which they didn’t miss. Two late goals flattered the opposition.

Our boys gave 100% effort. Luke Oliver was tireless and aggressive in midfield one of his free-kicks narrowly missing!

Whilst Rob Fowell enjoyed his most accomplished performance of the season.

Phil Kinder was strong at the back timing his tackles to perfection and taking no prisoners.
