Under 16's. Home v Whaley Bridge

Result - Reddish North End 3 Whaley Bridge 1

This was Reddish North End's best display of the season. The 12 lads which represented the club. Were an absolute credit.

Whaley Bridge are a very good team. They beat us in the corresponding fixture, earlier this year. John Traynor was outstanding, at the heart of an excellent defence. Keeper Scott Marshall dominated his area and pulled off a fantastic one handed save when the game was 1 - 1 and delicately balanced.

At half time with the game still level. Jordan Hopkins was moved into midfield, where he, Sam Layne and Luke Oliver, began to run the show.
The two Zachs were full of running down the flanks. Zach Cockett being rewarded, scoring with a cleverly taken free kick.

Danny Jackson now back to his imperious best, was well partnered by 2 goal Tom Barr. Tom is growing in stature and confidence with each game.

Scorers : Tom Barr (2) Zach Cockett (1)
