1st Game:
We had a chat before the game kicked off and the team expected a really hard test, Bramhall came to our ground with a good record of being unbeaten all season but considering that we only got together in January and only started to play as under 8's in March, the lads did really well against a well organised Bramhall side.

The game started well for both teams, Reddish attacked creating only a couple of chances in the first half but we did play some nice football at times but with no luck going our way. Bramhall had all the luck in the first half, a goal going in off a deflection from a corner and another goal from another deflection from a shot. half time 2 - 0 to Bramhall.

After a long team-talk at half time, the lads went into the second half believing that they can come back, to be fair to our team they did try their hardest with some good play from Luca, Alex, Lewis and Callum. We got a well deserved goal, a shot from the outside of the area from Callum.
Just when you think that the equaliser is going to come our way, a sucker punch! after some really good football, Bramhall scored their Winner,
the ball found it's way to their big midfielder Who shot from the half-way line to score a great goal. Fair play to Bramhall they did deserve to win the game, you can tell they have been together quite a while because there is not just one player that stands out, they Play as a team.

2nd Game:
After some changes bringing Sammy and Josh on for Luca and Max, we started this game much better, after some good teamwork we got our 1st goal of the game, a goal from callum, the usual kind of goal from outside the area. The lads kept playing like a team and got their reward, a well taken corner From Luca and who was there - Lewis to score a header into the Net, it was unstoppable.

Half-time 2 - 0

Second half, much the same as the first half playing for each other, Callum scored 2 more and after pressing hard to score more and me screaming "pass", Alex scored a great goal chipping everyone into the left top corner, great finish Alex.

Max came on for Sammy late in the game with instructions to stay near Bramhall's area, he should have had a hat trick, 2 chances from corners and with the goal gaping and only the goalie to beat, he shoots, it looked in but the Bramhall keeper made a great save. Hard luck to Max and as usual he had a big smile on his face after.  

Bramhall did try to play but our midfield did well to stop them.

Well done boys. Lots to learn from the 1st game, but lots of positives from the 2nd Game.
