Under 8's. Home v Richmond Rovers

1st Game:
Training is very important and during this match a set piece that we practiced came off for us.
Those that were at training will know what Im talking about (I don't want to give too much away). 
Well the lads did themselves proud scoring six goals and again conceding none. What really pleases me most is the hard work that the lads put in, plenty of passing and moving and lots of talking. A mention must again go to the defence, with Liam in goal and Cameron and Max in defence,
they do work hard at the back.

Man of the match: Luca

2nd Game:
This game was very different than the first. Richmond were in this game right from the start. We kept attacking them and they kept attacking us - it was after one of our attacks that the Richmond goalkeeper kicked the ball from his area and into our goal! the ball bounced on the edge of the area and sailed over Liam, no fault on his part. Half-time 1-0 to Richmond.

2nd half and we made some changes with Cameron, Callum and Alex coming on, we got our Break. Callum must have ran half the pitch and Shot into the net, a very good goal, well done Callum.
Again the lads had lots of chances with Sammy, Alex and Josh going close and to be fair should have scored. It was after a scrappy bit of play that we scored our winner, the ball was crossed into the box with lots of bodies in there, everyone trying to either clear the ball or score, the ball found its way to Jayden who scored from close range.

MOTM went to Max because after some good displays in defence and not getting the credit he deserves, he certainly deserved it today.
Credit also to Liam after another clean sheet in the first game.
