Home v Royton
Result - Reddish North End 3 Royton 1

Match Report: Rob.
This was our first game since November, with lots of games cancelled etc due to the weather.
It did show the lack of football we have had out today, our passing was a little off and balls over hit. The players looked a little sluggish buts that's to be expected due to no football for over 2 months.
First half we did look the slightly better side, only due to the way we pressed forward and Royton not really threatening us in any way.

Second half
was looking the same as the first until we got a free kick outside the box. Joe
took the kick and hurled it into the danger area, it went high and landed in the
net, not intended but it was an excellent free kick from Joe.
After the goal we got a second wind and the confidence grew, we had all the
chances and virtually nothing coming back at us.
We scored another goal soon after with a great strike from Caylam. Our third came from Connor, picking up the ball in the box, and hits into the corner.
We another 2
good chances, Nathan running in on the keeper but over ran the ball and Kyle
with only the keeper to beat hit wide.
All put down to lack of games but we are sure it wont be long before the
sharpness returns.
It was a good game overall and Ian was able to make substitutes in the second half to give all the players a run out.
We deserved the points to be fair, Aaron our keeper had nothing to do all game.
Well done lads, as Stotty said, first game for the new year and a win.
