Match Report: Alan Birchall
1st game
We started this game the brightest I've seen this team start any game, the game was there to be won. Callum got us off to a good start with a good finish, Regan scored 2 today, our defending as a Team was a lot to be desired though. With Regan bombing forward throughout this game we left holes in midfield when Juno had the ball. Make no mistake we will learn from this match, not only the players but also me as coach, I must take some of the blame for losing this match, I should be more strict with the players, by that I mean when they are constantly out of position, I should let them know quicker that they should be here or there.
This team of players are a very good side and will prove to be even better but they must learn by their mistakes, just as I must learn by my mistakes.
Juno scored 5 goals against us today which shocked me because we normally defend better. Lots of defending drills at our next training session I think.
After this match I had a good chat with all the squad and said we should defend better as a team. They didn't disappoint themselves.
Scorers: Callum (1) Reagan (2)
Man of the match: Liam G.

2nd game
Both coaches agreed to 20 minutes each-way.
Well after the 1st game this certainly was an improvement, Sammy was on a mission from the start, running down the right wing and passing the ball well, also getting hard but fair tackles in. he deserved his man of the match award.
Lewis scored the 1st goal
a good effort from just inside the box. Chris scored a great individual goal
winning the ball in midfield and running through 3 Juno players to shoot past
the Juno goalie. Jaden scored with a shot inside the box. we did defend this
game a lot better than the 1st.
Callum made some good saves and his distribution of the ball was second to none.
With 10 minutes left I
brought subs on Alex, Regan, Cameron and Liam G, they all did well.
Alex and Regan scored late on, although Juno changed the formation of the team,
this was the same team that won the 1st game, in truth we performed well against
a very good Team.
The lads that started this game laid the seeds for this win. The lads that
finished the game played some wonderful football at times.
well done to the whole squad.
