Result - Second Game. Reddish North End 1 Juno 1

Match Report: Alan Birchall
1st game
same as last week,
both teams played the right way, passing and moving from both teams, Juno
scored first then Lewis scored the equaliser with a shot from the inside
of the box , 2nd half again both sides playing great attacking football, but
we did edge it because we created more goal scoring opportunities, lots
of chances going begging to be put into the net, with lots of play in the
Juno half we did create a great chance for Callum to score a good
goal ,but when you think the game is won, reallity comes back, Juno
scored a good goal to make it 2-2.
I had to change things ,having taken
off Luca in the first half I decided to give Callum a rest and put
Luca back on ,he did not disappoint us.
He scored a good goal just inside
the box. game over we won 3-2 but with the chances that were missed we should
have won more comfortably. with Juno beating Droylsden last week I
thought this was going to be a though game but we played well and deserved this win.
Well done boys ,lets keep this level of performance going for the
rest of the season.
scorers: Lewis, Callum, Luca
Man of the match: Cameron for his defending and controlling the ball and Passing.

2nd game
We didn't create as many chances in this game as we did in the last one but the lads did play the right way with Callum in net, Liam M and Liam G in defence and with Alex on the left and Josh in midfield and Jaden on the right and Sammy upfront .
The lads tried their best
but with Juno having players that were much bigger we didn't have the
ball much, Callum did very well in goal saving lots of shots at our
goal. Again Sammy had chances to score but again it wasn't his day but it
will come. I must mention Liam G he played his best football for this
team today, he stopped a lot of chances being created by Juno, his
tackles were great, but also Liam M played well because he stayed in his
position just in front of the Keeper, he did the simple thing and just
cleared the ball He got my M.O.T.M. for his hard work.
But Juno did
break our defence and scored in the first half to go in at halftime 1-0 up.
Again I made changes in the 2nd half I brought on Regan on for Alex and switched Josh to the left Regan did not disappoint he ran the midfield for the rest of the match, we did create a few chances from corners but they were not taken. With the clock Ticking towards fulltime we had one last attack the ball was knocked up the field Regan managed to kick it forward, as it was going towards the Juno box one of the Juno players stuck out a hand, penalty.
Same as last week everyone wanted to take it, but I gave Regan his chance to score, his shot went right trough the Keeper hands and into the top of the net, 1-1. Well done lads this was a very good performance against a very good team.
scorers: Regan
Man of the match: Liam M for staying in his position and doing the simple thing when the ball came to him.
