19/11/2011 Home v Hazel Grove.
19th November 2011
Reddish North End vs Hazel Grove
Reddish come into this game against a strong Hazel grove side after winning both Cups last season. The game got underway and Reddish looked much settled and looked to play and keep the ball. Also Reddish looked more comfortable and kept the ball for much longer periods than in other game. Hazel Grove was a well disciplined side and looked a strong team to break down and proved this throughout the game. At half time the score was 4-0 with 1 goal coming from a great individual run and finish and the other coming from a deflection that left the keeper with no chance.
The second half was even better with the girls taking all the positives from the first half and building on them. Reddish played very well throughout the second half and defended superb with all the team coming together and battling to win the ball. Once Reddish did all the hard work (defending) they started to play the ball in behind Hazel Grove on a few occasions a created a few chances and looked to trouble Hazel Grove.
The full time score was 6-0 but a massive difference in how the girls played and worked together with only 2 goals coming in the second half and one of the goals being a deflection. From this all the team can take a massive boost with how well and hard they worked. Also with how well they dealt with everything that Hazel Grove thrown at them.
Player of the Match: Kierra Connor
Final Score 6-0

12/11/2011 Home v Alty Pumas.
12th Novemeber 2011
Reddish North End vs Alty Pumas
The game started with both team trying to put their mark on the game and keep hold of the ball but with both team battling to win the ball each team struggling to string together a few passes. Reddish Battled hard all throughout the game and always looked to get their head up and pass the ball. Alty Pumas seemed to score at crucial times, just as Reddish begun to build momentum and pressure with some good individual and team goals. Despite this Reddish still kept their heads up and made some great chances to pull a few goals back but unfortunately Reddish didn’t make the most of their chances.
From each game there is plenty of positives and from this game the team always looked to pass the ball and individually every player has made massive strides with their techniques and each week everybody can see this

22/10/2011 Away v Leigh Genesis.
AWAY MATCH
Reddish North End v Stockport County Blues
The game ahead was always going to be an uphill challenge with Stockport County
Blues unbeaten throughout the season and this showed with the fast passing and
closing down they were doing. They soon took the lead with some good passing
play and finishing. After this all the football was played in the Reddish Half
with Stockport putting their foot down and not giving reddish any time or space
to play. Reddish dug deep and battle through a very tough first half with
Reddish making some last ditch tackles and great saves to keep there foot in the
door. Stockport County Blues did not let up and kept piling the pressure on
Reddish with them taking wave after wave of attack. Reddish made there chances
through linking together well and breaking down the line but for some good
defending and goalkeeping the threat was dispursted.
The second half was no different with Reddish being put under constant pressure
from Stockport. They made it hard for Reddish to create pressure with all the
Stockport County Team pressing the ball high up the pitch. There was no break
for any of the team with the ball coming straight back at Reddish and were made
to work extremely hard just to get the ball back. Stockport made the extra
player count with all of the Reddish players exhausted with all the hard work
they had put in. Within the game Reddish had gone through sustained periods of
pressure and come out the other side but with some unfortunate goals the lead
kept slipping away.
This game was a mssive learning curve for all the team but the team understood
why and how the game fell away from them which can be taken into the next game,
meaning the team can keep making strides forward like every other week and can
concentrate on so many positives that come out of each game.
Player of the Match: Kiera Connor
Final Score: 16-0

15/10/2011 Away v Leigh Genesis.
Cup Game
Reddish North Ends first Round of the cup began with Leigh Genesis taking a very
early lead with a great strike from 15 yards. For the next couple of minutes
Leigh Genesis piled on the prussure but Reddish held strong. Throughout the
first half Reddish came together and defended very well, fighting for every
ball. Also the goalkeeper making some great saves. Reddish started to link
together some good passing play and created some good chances but for the ball
going narrowly wide or the keeping saving it. Without Reddish Capitalizing Leigh
Genesis made the most of this with some good play down the wings and some good
crosses and finishing.
After half time Reddish made a positive start, learning from their first half mistakes and breaking Leigh Genesis plays down proven by having their first chance only 15 minutes into the half. Reddish played probably the best half of football they have played all season with the team working together from front, to back. With all the team working so hard it was only a matter of time before Reddish created chances and on 3 seperate occassions Reddish had the chance to put their name on the scoresheet but for some good saves and unlucky bounces of the ball preventing this. With Reddish Pressuring for the deserved goal, Genesis went down the other end and scored with some good counter attacking play. Towards the end of the game the score began to slip away from reddish but they never gave up and everybody fought for the ball and on numerous occasions, players but their bodies on the line.
Reddish had lost their first game in the cup with the score not telling the true story of how well Reddish played and deserved to get more from the game than the scoreline suggests. The 3 new addittions made a great difference and fitted very well into the team. All the team made great contributions to the game and can take alot away from the game.
Player of the Match: Niamh Daily
Final Score: 0 - 10

08/10/2011 Home v Stockport County Girls.
8/10/11
Reddish North End vs Stockport County U13's Girls
Coming into the game we had high expectations for a good result today with the
great win last week but we lost one of our players before the game had kicked
off due to injury which had an effect on the rest of the team. When the game got
going things didn't start too well with Stockport County taking the lead with
some good passing play and a good finish. From then on Stockport County made the
extra player count with direct passing and finishing resulting in some good
goals. Reddish carried on their hard work and created chances for themselves by
pressing the ball and closing players down much quicker. Unfortunatly none of
the chances resulted in a goa,l which a goal or two was deserved. At half
time the score was 8-0 with all the team drained, freezing and disheartened.
From the restart the teams attitude changed and and all the players showed how
much pride, fight and determination they have. All the team came together and
started to work as a unit with alot of positives. The team had their backs
against the wall with a steep challenge infront of them but that was not going
to stop them from playing the football they wanted to play which resulted in
numerous chances for Reddish to get themselves on the scoresheet but again good
defending from Stockport county prevented them from doing that. Stockport County
scored a few more goals at less regular intervals due to Reddish pushing for
that goal.
The final score was 12-0 but if it wasnt for all the team coming together and
working so hard, the score could have been alot steeper which wasnt a reflection
on how hard every player worked. There is no doubt with every game that Reddish
Girls play they keep getting stronger and building on the positives from the
week before.

01/10/2011 Away v Wythenshawe Amateurs.
Wythenshawe Ametuers vs Reddish North End
01/10/2011
The game began with everyone of the players knowing today was going to take alot
of effort and focus with the weather playing a big part and sun beaming down.
From the start Reddish started to play some great football with the ball being
played to feet and and all working hard to create space for eachother. Not long
into the first half Reddish took the lead with great passing and some great
finishing. The lead was then extended again with all the team playing there part
with the defence making some good tackles and reading the game very well. The
midfield gave them no time on the ball and linked up well to extend their lead.
From 2-0 Reddish could get that final goal to put the game out of Wythenshawes
hands and Wythenshawe got themselves back into the game with all the hard work
paying off and got themselves a deserved goal. Each time Reddish extended their
lead Wyhtenshawe got themselves back into the game and was set for an exciting
and tight second half with the score finishing 4-3 to Reddish.
The half time break was welcomed by everyone with both teams tired and thankfull
for the rest. The teams came back out refreshed and ready for a hard and tiring
2nd half with Reddish making a great start and making the most of a great chance
and finishing in style. Wythenshawe kept coming back, making numerous problems
for the Reddish team but all the team stepped up their game and made sure
Wythenshawe would not draw level through some geat tackling, team work and
goalkeeping. Reddish made some fantastic chances for themselves with everyone of
the team playing there part within them, from great tackling and reading the
gameto great paasing and great runs off the ball. Reddish kept scoring to extend
there lead each time Wythenshawe looked to create pressure. The last 10 minutes
came with the score 6-7o Reddish. Wyhtenshawe looked to start taking control
with fresh subs coming on. They created numerous chances to bring the game level
but the team pulled together and put there bodies on the line with fantastic
defending from everyone of the players and some great fearless goalkeeping. From
this the girls broke free and took the pressure off them and scored at the other
end making the score 6-8. The Final score ended 7-9 to Reddish with a well
deserved win for all the hard work and effort they have put in over the last few
games.
Each week all the girls are coming on leaps and bounds and today prove that with
all the commitment they showed and how well they played despite the sun beaming
down. The work ethic of the girls was imense with everybody coming together and
making the most of there great potential. Each individual performance told alot
about the team with all the players contributing to the win.
Goals:
mckenzie 7, Megan C 2.

24/09/2011 Home v Urmston Meds.
Reddish North End vs Urmston Meds under 13's 24/9/11
RNE 0 - 8 Urmston Meds
The girls came into their
second game eager as always with 2 extra players in Olivia and Megan giving the
girls a massive boost. The game got under way and from the start Urmston
looked comfortable with the ball and took an early lead. From then on
Urmston scored at intervals just as reddish began to build pressure, knocking
the wind out of their sails. Reddish had spells with the ball and started
linking up well and playing some good football. All the team battled hard to win
the ball and a few times numerous players made great runs with and without the
ball but from some good defending from the Urmston defenders the threat was
broken down. Urmstone scored both good team and individual goals. If it wasn't
for the Reddish defenders and goalkeeper the score could have been alot worse,
but full credit to all the girls for thier effort and determination.
After the half time team talk, Reddish came out like a house on fire. Straight
from the kick off Reddish broke down the right hand side with some great passing
play all the way into the box but again the Urmston Defence stood up to the
challenge. The Reddish midfield and forwards started to press the ball much
higher up the pitch making it hard for Urmston to play. By doing this Reddish
created more chances and oppotunity for themselves with all the hard work they
have been putting in paying off for them but the luck was not in Reddish's
favour with some generous goals for Urmston. Urmston looked well organised and
played some nice football and extended there lead out of reach. The second half
had plenty positives to take away from the game with all the team making great
improvements both idividually and as a team.
With each game that goes by Reddish are linking all the different things they
have learnt and are taking massive strides forwards towards thier first win,
which is only a matter of time. This is due to all the players determination,
dedication and hard work. The nominated player of the match was Kiera for her
bravery in goals and great goal stopping saves. There was a lot of players that
put there mark on the game for all the right reasons.
Kindest Regards
Liam
