Team coach (Alan) views on the game:

1st Game:
I'll be honest and say we didn't play as well as I know we can, we just didn't play like a team today.
The passing just wasn't there, some players were passing the ball as though they haven't learned to pass properly. We didn't defend very well either, and we didn't create any clear cut chances, there were some good performances by a couple of players like Isacc and Nathan W (please look up Nathan when you get the Ball and pass a bit more) although he didn't pass much he did try his hardest and Nathan W deserved the Man of the match.

2nd Game:
This was a better all round performance, we battled for the ball more and we passed a bit more than the 1st game. We were unlucky not to at least get a draw from this game, with Nathan H again having one of his best games for the team (keep performing like this Nathan and you will do well in this team) he also had a good chance to score with a low shot which the goalkeeper saved. Patrick had a good chance, so did Declan, Josh and especially Henry (how many times do I have to tell players to control the ball first!).

We will do a lot of passing and ball control at training on Friday and spend some time on shooting practice.
We need to do better overall in games because today we lost this game 2 - 0 from 2 corners - basically because we didn't mark their players properly. I gave Patrick Man of the match in this second game for his effort.
