Team coach (Alan) views on the game:

1st Game:
We started as if we were still in bed today and the scoreline shows it, We just didn't pass the ball well enough today. Cheadle & Gatley are a well organised team and they pass like a team, the important word here is TEAM and some of our players need to realise this. I am trying to get a group of players together who will play for the team as a whole and not as a personal crusade, some need to learn to pass better and others to tackle and not to pull out of tackles. Last week we played much better and we have to get back to that level of performance.
There were times when we did try to play in this game and some players tried harder than others, even after making silly mistakes. Brandon played well and got the Man of the match - well done.

2nd game:
A much better performance all round, we competed for nearly every ball and we went 1-0 up with a good interchange from Lewis W and Lewis M - Lewis M scoring from midfield, a low shot into the bottom right corner.

Cheadle & Gatley had an attack that resulted in their 1st goal, we couldn't clear the ball and it resulted in them getting a lucky break when the ball went to one of their players to the left of our goal, the player wasn't closed down quickly enough and he shot low into the right side of our net. 1-1 at halftime.

We had a couple of chances to kill this game off in the second half, Lewis W shooting just wide of their left post and Henry getting a good chance (if he controlled the ball he would have been in).
We did live a charmed life with Cheadle & Gatley playing some good football with plenty of passing.
During one of these passing runs they got the ball from a clearance by us, it fell to one of their players who controlled it well, our players just backed off to give him too much room to shoot into the top right corner of our net. I made a sub bringing Patrick on for Henry, we were 2 - 1 down. We had plenty of corners in both games but couldn't get our heads onto one of them, However it was from a corner that we got our equaliser, Callum crossed the ball, Cheadle & Gatley tried to clear but it fell to Patrick who scored with a hard shot into the left corner.
This was a better performance but I know we can do even better. Once again a defender got the Man of the match - well done Matthew. I would like to see one of our forward players to get it next game.

2nd Game - Lewis M (1) Patrick (1)
