Back to earth again although, strange as it may sound, there was a lot to be encouraged about from our point of view. Two defensive errors cost us two goals just before h-t and that killed the game but we had some good passages of play and pressurised an unbeaten and very solid Haughton side (who, it must be said, had a great attitude and behaved in a very creditable way). It’s another defeat but in these games it’s attitude and commitment that have to count, and there were absolutely no problems in this department.
We’ve targeted the games we need to win and will hopefully learn from today.
