Match Report: Following the enforced delay to the season the rain has finally cleared with cup games played some 2 week late. In heavy conditions a somewhat over physical display by the home team in the opening spell results in a number of free kicks to RNE. Football skills make the mark. A  strong run through the middle sees Brandon open the score. 1 - 0 RNE.  Matthew receives a crunching tackle and has to be subbed; much of his ankle remains on the pitch! RNE continue to play football. Tom and Wood busy in defence. A quick ball from the back to Sheff, who releases the ever forward Haden. 2 - 0 RNE.  

Too many sliding tackles, several mistimed, see RNE  on top. Mike is dazed by a ball in the face. Does he go down….no. He shoot from 30 yards and sees a high looping shot in at the top corner. 3 - 0 RNE.
The second half starts with RNE making a number of substitutions. Samuel, Shaun on, Matthew returns. Samuel breaks down the left, winning a early corner. Crossed by Matthew, head tennis, converted by Brandon. 4 - 0 RNE. Credit to Great Moor. Physical presence tells with a goal. 4 - 1. Now it is end to end.
