Match Report: First home game of the season. Can RNE build upon the great win last week. Another strong start with Brandon going close. Mike and Sheff battling hard with good wide play from Jack and Samuel. Both sides go close. Against the run of play Stockport JB score. 0 – 1. RNE immediately counter with shot after shot just missing. Samuel leads the play down the left. Just before half time Stockport JB make it 0 – 2. Not a true reflection of the game. RNE immediately second in the second half. Great power from Mike in the middle feds Brandon. No mistake. 1 -2.  Both sides battle hard but RNE edging it. Stockport JB make a late break away but great goal keeping from Dom sees the score remain. A penalty. Samuel cuts inside from the left and is fouled within the box. Sheff steps up and ties the score. 2 -2. A couple of half chances missed late on sees the game end in a draw. If RNE take all the chances we are in for an exciting season.
