Dave (Globe trotting) Williams in Dublin. Where next? Touch of Siberia hits Stockport. How cold…and that’s just the touchline Mum and Dads comments that are printable. With Stockport JB heading the division, a result is important for RNE. A strong start from Stockport JB sees RNE defending solidly with few chances getting through to Dom in net. Haden, Woody, Amari and Mike S in defence with Matthew playing this new position in the middle.

A number of attacks see Brandon, Sheff and Samuel with shots on going close.  RNE make the break through. Brandon, coming in from the right strikes the back of the net with a low shot. RNE almost immediately win a penalty. Samuel, having switched flanks gets brought down. Sheff strikes true, but denied the goal by the underside of the cross bar. RNE, making the clear chances get the well deserved second through Brandon. 2 - 0 at halftime.

Stockport JB come out a little overcharged. Gricy, John, Josh and Jack all seeing more action. Mike stays strong in the middle. Brandon makes it 3 - 0 RNE.  The lads are clinical in attack. Stockport JB pull one back. 3 – 1. However, RNE superior football sees an immediate response. Quick ball, spread across the park sees Sheff and then Haden making it 5-1.
Unfortunately Stockport JB let themselves down. A number of plays cautioned late on. RNE them make it 6 – 1. Another quick brake sees clinical passing through the middle with Sheff finishing a well worked team goal.
Good discipline and great football sees RNE win. Well played all.
