Away v Hillgate Boys

Result - Reddish North End 3 Hillgate Boys 2

Team coach (John) views on the game:

This was our first game back and we got a winning start and played some good football. We struggled for players for example no goalkeeper and a number of other players missing from the team, but the lads that were there did themselves proud.
We had a good start going 1 up early in the first half but was pegged back shortly after to make it 1 1 and game on. The game was an even affair with both sides going for it and trying to win the game which was good to watch, but half way through the game we attack and score 2 1 and we started to play some good football.

We could and should have scored more but it wasn't to be and then as the game was coming to an end the inevitable happened and they equalised. This seem to inspire us again and we put on the pressure and we scored 3 2 and this was shortly followed by the miss of the season by Alan our centre forward, who should of scored because somebody must of moved the post and the ball went wide.
We aren't blaming Alan for it but he is playing at the back next week, (only joking!) he was the man of the match, he worked his socks off and should be proud of himself I thought he was outstanding.

The rest of the team deserve praise as well as we attacked as a team and defended as a team, this was an all round solid performance.
