Team coach (John) views on the game:
This was a great result for us as this was the best game the team have played all season, they were great! We started off a little shaky when they scored their goal early in the first half, which, no disrespect to them, was a bit of a fluke but they did score. This goal was only to inspire us as from that moment on we took complete control of the game, we passed the ball, we got the ball forward quicker and won pratically every tackle. The second half was even better they manage to get out of their own half only a couple of times, we missed chance after chance after chance, we didnt think we were going to score. Then the goal came and it was Jacob that got it and he was well pleased, well done Jacob. The game carried on in the same vein missing chance after chance, I think they were relieved to hear the final whistle and the team were well pleased and being honest, so was I that we played so well and everything you teach them came together. There wasnt a man of the match because they were all men of the match and I really mean that, the whole team played as a team and played well.
The second game was practically the same as the first except there werent any goals but there should have been, lots of them for North End. We dominated again and again missed chance after chance, ive decided shooting practice at training and lots of it. I was really pleased with the team in both games, they passed the ball well, they got their tackles in and never gave up which was the most pleasing thing of all. They should be proud of themselves and understand that if they keep that level of performance up and keep learning they will have a good footballing career and I hope they do.
