Team coach (Alan) views on the game:
1st game:
The team started very well, with Nathan W having shots saved by their keeper, and also Brandon playing well on the left side of midfield had shots saved. We
went in at halftime 0-0 with both teams playing well. The second half we pushed
forward to try and make something happen with Lewis w, Callum and Nathan W going
close with some good passing and moving and having shots saved or going just
passed the Vikings goal.
It was on one of these attacks that the Vikings got their goal on the break with
Isaac and Matthew left on their own to stop 4 players, it was a low shot into
the bottom corner, which Aaron had no chance.
The game finished 1-0 to the Vikings but I knew there was a chance for the
second game.

2nd game:
The game got going at a good fast pace with both teams committed to playing good
football. Matthew kicked the ball out of defence to Patrick, he ran down the
left wing into loads of space, he must have heard all the spectators shouting
shoooot, he shot, it was on target? did the keeper see it coming? No...the ball
went into the top left corner and nearly broke the net, a great goal.
The team
deserved that because of the way we played in the 1st game.
We went in at half time 1-0 up but could we keep it going? you bet we could,
good passing through the midfield saw the ball break lose to Nathan H who hit it
first time and again like last week the ball spun off the inside of the post.
Vikings pushed their big players up in the second half and swapped their keeper
with another big lad who kicked the ball right down the field every time. I must
give credit to all the players on the pitch Brandon who saved us lots of times.
Isaac and Matt in defence, the midfielders Nathan H, Lewis W, Patrick and Callum and the strikers Henry and Nathan W and not forgetting Aaron, who had
his best game today.
The Vikings put lots of pressure on our defence and did deserve something out of
the game but we didn't get what we deserved in the first game so honors even,
the game finished 1-0 to R.N.E well done the whole team.
